IT QA Engineer (Automation and Performance) is a key contributor in the planning and execution of software test projects by the development and maintenance of functional automation scripts as well as by contributing to performance prototyping, capacity modeling, profiling, availability management and troubleshooting. 



  • Develop and maintain functional and performance automation test framework and scripts
  • Support and analyze test execution cycles 
  • Perform code review and white box testing
  • Report status on product testing, stability, performance and release readiness to SCRUM team
  • Perform all other duties as requested or assigned  



  • Minimum five years of software test automation experience
  • Hands on experience in functional and performance test planning, test development, execution and reporting, defect analysis, and metrics within an agile process
  • Experience with MicroFocus UFT 
  • Experience with Visual Studio performance testing
  • Unit testing a plus
  • Web services testing automation a plus
  • Experience with Mongo DB a plus
  • Mortgage industry and/or Financial Services experience is a plus



  • Advanced understanding of the software product release cycles with a strong understanding of both development and testing methodologies
  • Experience testing in SCRUM teams
  • Proficient with MicroFocus UFT - minimal intermediate level expertise
  • Experience with MS TFS/VSTS toolsets
  • Proficient coding in most of the following languages: C# (.Net), VB script and Java
  • Intermediate level SQL language expertise
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external development partners
  • Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems
  • Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision
