A non-profit is looking for an
IT Project Manager to join their team in NYC.
Compensation: $125-130k
Responsibilities: - Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the organization's technical and application/software related projects
- Coordinates production releases and roll-outs, delegateing tasks to necessary employees and presenting on projects' progress and results
- Serves as a point person (coordinator) during project intake process and conducts risk assessments for projects (applications/software)
- Organizes meeting to discuss project goals and progress, project related budgeting/expenses and status reports
- Hands off projects to business units upon project completion.
- Handles requirements gathering prior to project acceptance, these include the following:

- Vendor Qualifications Forms & Documents (eg. RPF)
- Third Party Risk Questionnaires (if applicable)
- Coordinate pre-sales technical review call.
- Business Requirements Document for Technology Steering Committee
- Gathers post sales documentation (eg: Application Profile document, application diagram)
- Manages and participates in multiple concurrent projects.
- Responsible for reporting project status to executive staff and leadership via reports or dashboards
- Documents instructions for end-users and assist with testing phases of the project.
- Coordinates change requests and adjustment needed during the project.
- Conducts post-project evaluations.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Information Systems (or related degree) and 4 years of relevant work experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator and/or other IT management positions
- Advanced computer skill and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, cybersecurity, network administration and service desk administration
- Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals (Project Management Professional - PMP certification required) and experience working in a project management office (preferred).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.
- Ability to manage a team of employees and vendor/partners, develop a project scheduling and define individual responsibilities within the project
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget and to hold resources accountable for their deliverables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during the lifecycle of the project.
- Excellent judgment and creative issue-resolution skills, including conflict resolution
- Working knowledge of project management software (Monday.com preferred)
