Summary

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize project according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team member and third-party contractor or consultant in order to deliver project according to plan. The Project Manager will also design the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Essential Functions

  • Manage Complex Project Implementations such as:
    • Hardware additions to existing Cisco, Dell/EMC, Microsoft, VMWare & other Systems
    • Software upgrades for existing Cisco, Dell/EMC., Microsoft, VMWare & other Systems
    • New Installations of Cisco, Dell/EMC, Microsoft, VMWare & other Systems
    • Manage Project Time-Line, Budget, Scope, Customer Expectations, & Process
    • Maintain High Degree of Customer Satisfaction (95%)

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Related Experience
  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Three or more years of Experience in Project Planning in Telecommunications Industry
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills Required.
  • Strong Problem Solving, Decision Making, Organizational, & Negotiation Skills Required
  • Ability to Work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
  • Leadership ability to manage a diverse group of people within the project group and meld them into team working toward the same goal

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP Certification Preferred
  • Previous work experience with in the IT arena is preferred.
