How you’ll contribute
Join our team as an IT Project Manager II. In this role, you will assist in the planning and execution of project(s) having an internal focus from initiation through delivery. You will also, organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project while adhering to the budget, schedule, and quality parameters. Your expertise will serve as the in-house project consultant for evaluating needs and vendor request for proposals as well as help with the planning and direct the implementation efforts.
Plan, design and implement processes for the development and delivery of new or existing products, services, processes, and/or technologies where the coordination of cross-functional teams is necessary.
Directly manage all aspects of a project lifecycle to oversee all phases
Establish working relationships at all levels of the organization to partner with and effectively communicate with cross-functional groups as required
Collaborate withinternal & external partners to gather business requirements and develop project plans
Obtain agreements onproject definitions, scope and priorities to ensure that resources, capabilities and processes are in place
Rigorously manage scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost and quality parameters
Make judgements and take reasonable action requiredto accomplish agreed upon project objectives undergeneral guidance
Solicit technological input from technical resources assignedto their respective project teams and facilitate technology problem-solving activities
Develop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan and related project management artifacts
Prepare statusreports, track project milestones, analyze and summarize information and trends, and reporton the overall integrated delivery plan
Develop communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilities
Identify risks and vulnerabilities and create contingency plans
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to find the best solutions, assess impact of decisions on each of the functional areas and propose resolutions.
Conduct regularly scheduled steering committee meetings and project reviews to review projectstatus updates, risks, vulnerabilities and dependencies, to obtain approvals and decisions as needed
Serve as a subject matter expert on different aspects of assigned initiatives while briefing key stakeholders
Demonstrates sound judgement and applies depth of knowledge and experience in solving complex challenges where no precedent may exist
Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums
Propose recommendations and adjustments, as needed
Validate financial forecasts, cost assumptions and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
Strictly adhere to the budget management and guidelines of both the Information Technology department and the enterprise
Support ongoing adoption and continued evolution of a ‘Project-Focused’ culture within the IT department
Acts as a resource and informally supports the development of less experienced co-workers

For this role you will need
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
PMP certification
5+ years of project management experience
3+ years of IT development and operations
Demonstrated proficiency in using both Mac and PC platforms
Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 and other office productivity tools including MS Visio
Demonstrated proficiency in project management platforms such as: MS Project, SmartSheet, ServiceNow PPM module, etc.
Ability totravel up to 20% to regional sites and domestic US as needed
Preferred Qualifications
PgMP and/or Business Analyst and/or ITIL certification
2+ yearsworking in a pharmaceutical or biotech industry
2+ years of project management experience supporting corporate real estate initiatives (understanding technology needs for real estate projects, ability to read building plans)
Expertise in dashboarding platforms such as Tableau, MS PowerBI etc.
