In addition, this position mentors and is a thought leader among peers in order to build consensus and promote teamwork. This position leads the creation of technical solutions primary but not limited to the Tibco integration platform. The position collaborates with teams to build deployment plans, communication plans, and data migration plans. The Senior IT Programmer Analyst will be relied upon to provide leadership in performing technical due diligence, design/build proof-of-concepts, design/implement/document system processes, code configuration management, environment configuration management, and other systems life cycle responsibilities. Qualified individuals should possess both design, development, and documentation experience in Tibco as well as proven utilization of database platforms (such as Oracle DB) and enterprise integration (such as JMS, SOAP, REST, FTP, XML, JSON) to develop highly scalable solutions.


  • Participate in new Tibco initiatives through the full life-cycle, including planning, technical management, and implementation and adoption
  • Develop detail level tasks descriptions (as user stories or use cases) and sequencing for design, development, configurations, and deployment appropriate to communicate to project managers, developers, and system administrators.
  • Extensive knowledge of Tibco best practices, processes, tools, standards, methodologies, and advance configuration to provide consistent and easy to support coding
  • Provide technical support for all integration within IT Applications
  • Respond within documented service level agreements to cases opened by business users and work closely with IT team(s) as necessary to resolve production issues
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Coordinate development or other operational tasks with IT partners and development teams to deliver an effective solution for the end customers
  • Support internal customers by working with analyst team members to facilitate the implementation of projects and change requests throughout all phases of system implementations from requirements analysis, design, development, testing, training, go-live and production support
  • Work closely with the business units and user community to analyze application requirements, procedures, and problems in order to support and improve existing systems
  • Document and communicate processes, technical designs, and change requests to ensure the delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the business

Skills & Requirements


  • EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; or Associate’s Degree and equivalent work experience
  • EXPERIENCE:  4+ years’ experience in design, build, deploy, and support using industry standard integration concepts.  In depth knowledge of building SOAP/REST APIs, JMS integration, RosettaNet, and XML/JSON.  Experience with any of the following technologies is desirable:   Tibco, Oracle SOA, Axway, Docker.


  • Advanced knowledge of the following technologies: Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, Tibco BW/BC, Oracle SOA, Docker
  • Well versed in both backend data integration, backend near real-time integration, B2B integration, as well as UI/browser based integration
