Job Location: Philadelphia, PA or NYC

Responsibilities:

Business Alignment

  • Represent IT during business meetings, act as the liaison between IT and the business, promote evolving IT Service Model
  • Engage with business thru onsite visits as well as participating in Shoulder to Shoulder activities across all business functions
  • Support and serve on committees, task forces and working groups as needed to ensure continuous process improvements, and business objectives are being met
  • Use stakeholders' feedback to implement necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
  • End to end accountability for all aspects of IT to the business, including escalation point for operational and delivery issues

People Development

  • Evaluate and manage employee performance and establish employee training and development plans that align with organization development philosophy.
  • Develop and coach managers and employees for growth opportunities and succession planning

Exceptional Delivery

  • Ensure the operationalization of technology solutions to support business operations
  • Drive technology solution implementations and adoptions
  • Deliver all projects on time and in full
  • Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality, efficiency and continuity
  • Support of physical security system infrastructure and software solutions

Operational Efficiencies

  • Day-to-day management of IT organization processes including performance management and metrics
  • Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures
  • Ensure Service providers and vendor partners are meeting agreed upon SLAs
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements, budget development, and ensuring effective and efficient use of resources
  • Adhere to Asset Management Process and execute process changes
  • Contribute best practices to knowledge base to further reduce incidents (P2, P3, P4)

Clarity of Services

  • Implement ways to socialize IT services with our users
  • In conjunction with IT management, establish the vision and ensure the staff are aware of and support this vision

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field, required
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations management role, required
  • 4+ years in a MIS leadership role, required
  • Strong background in building relationships with business partners with a track record of success in meeting business partner requests, required
  • Experienced with managing service providers and vendor partners, required
  • Deep understanding of datacenter and cloud infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of current technology platforms and an understanding of future trends
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills that proactively addresses business needs and requirements with innovative, creative, and cost-effective solutions
  • CPG Experience, a plus
  • Experience with facilities planning and development, a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams.
  • Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge
