We are looking for an IT manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our information technology and computer systems for MRM//McCann in the West. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs, as well as, helping to structure/facilitate IT needs required by our clients. The successful candidate will have improved skills, a proven professional experience and a detailed knowledge of industry's best practice processes. This candidate will also work with our global IT teams on various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for process improvement, customer service, communication of issues, and proactive monitoring of all systems and applications
  • Responsible for reviewing and responding to escalated incidents, emails and our ticketing system
  • Support multiple applications that are hosted onsite and cloud based
  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning across all applications in a consistent manner
  • Manage the ongoing support of applications, including implementation, upgrades, patches, tuning, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and security
  • Oversee escalations to resolution, gathering resources as needed to resolve issues
  • Responsible for directing the support team, managing the incoming flow and directing follow up cases
  • Routinely engage with clients to build relationships and understand how our performance is perceived and/or where gaps exist
  • Review service failures and prepare/deliver root cause incident reports on both technical and process issues
  • Maintain timely communication with business associates on incidents that have been escalated
  • Maintain and update all processes, procedures, and instructional documentation for your team and business associates as required team scheduling and change requests
  • Lead team, facilitate team meetings, motivate others and communicate all changes from all departments within IT Primary escalation point for the support team
  • Accountable for personal/technical development; finds innovative ways to continually improve skills
  • Lead and manage IT Audit requirements
  • Special projects as required by manager

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience working in an IT operations and development process role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong leadership/communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Windows Server OS 2008/2012, R2
  • A good working knowledge of DNS/DHCP/VPN
  • Working knowledge of basic server hardware
  • Azure and AWS experience
  • Working knowledge of Encryption technology (BitLocker)
  • Experience working in Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Intermediate Experience with VMWare, Network Storage technology, and MS SQL, Enterprise Backup solutions
  • Strong problem solving, interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Apple hardware support and Casper management is preferred
  • Basic Jira & Confluence experience is preferred
  • Certifications: Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCSA), CompTIA (Server+, Network+), ITIL Foundation is preferred
  • Ability to build customer relationships and provide customer service Knowledge and ability to cope with and resolve escalated customer service issues
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated business analysis skills
  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously, plan, organize, prioritize and make effective decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop internal resources and manage vendor resources
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping
  • Ability to communicate technical issues in a clear and concise manner to business partners and IT partners at both the working and executive levels
