Job Description Summary:
The IT Manager – Factory Automation is a role that will make significant contributions to sustain, improve and expand automated Semiconductor Manufacturing IT systems. This role will manage a team of talented Automation and Applications Engineers, will work closely with our manufacturing organization and other IT groups by providing innovative and impactful solutions to achieve best in class service for our fabrication operations. This position will also encompass the System Administrator Role for the PROMIS MES system on site.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of excellent technical, communication and organizational skills in addition to business analysis and factory-control-systems knowledge. They will enjoy leading, teaching and collaborating with others. They will consistently look for ways to grow their knowledge and to understand and improve systems and processes. They will make positive contributions to the team by sharing their knowledge and providing new ideas.
The IT – Factory Automation Manager will model company values with a lead-by-example attitude to assure continuous 24x7 operations. Sense of urgency, commitment to avoiding manufacturing impacts and an enabling approach is expected. Must demonstrate high levels of motivation, availability, individual responsibility and group accountability. The model candidate will be familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including the planning, design, development, implementation, deployment and maintenance stages.
