What Will You Do?

  • Senior Managers will interface with FEMA staff on IT project specific issues, direct the completion of projects within estimated time frames and budget constraints, review work products for completeness and adherence to applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Lead project teams in the execution of audits and internal control assessment and testing activities.
  • Conduct project planning activities including developing planning documents, conducting kick off meetings, and arranging and scheduling testing activities.
  • Review the team’s testing workpapers, finding documentation, and other work products to ensure technical accuracy, deliverable quality, and overall value to client.
  • Document and communicate testing findings and results to senior level stakeholders.
  • Provide suggestions to improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial statements based on analysis.
  • Provide strategic advice on the standardization of policies and procedures.
  • Implement any necessary process revisions to remediate any identified gap(s).
  • Maintain relationships and communicate with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions.
  • Prepare presentations and briefings, and actively participate in client meetings and day-to-day interactions.
  • Actively participate in career development activities and technical training of staff.
  • Attend appropriate training, business seminars and/or conferences to stay up to date with technical skills that align with the firm’s direction and changes in the industry.
  • Entity Level Controls, Grants Management, Insurance Management, Budget Resource Management, Revenue & Receivables, Payment Management, Human Resources and Payroll, Property, Financial Reporting, and Fund Balance with Treasury

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading a team and providing technical direction.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management
  • 5+ years of experience in of IT General Controls (ITGC) experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
