Provides guidance, assistance, coordination and follow-up on requests, questions, problems and malfunctions of systems applications, hardware or software supporting internal and external customers. Responsible for providing daily ongoing administration of the Nelnet network and systems environment. Administers and manages a complex Active Directory environment or other Shared Services systems, administering users in multiple technologies and applications, tape backup management, installing and distributing software, monitoring and ensuring security of the network environment. Excellent customer service skills and expertise in resolving technical issues that are not able to be resolved at the first level of support. Act as a customer advocate and liaison at all times as well as mentor first level Customer Service representatives.
