Serve as IT liason for requests for services and coordination and management of the delivery of those services. Determines if requirements can be met with existing system or if new system is appropriate. Translates business requirements into system requirements to allow for successful implementations of new products and systems as well as for changes to enhance operations of various business units. Analyzes both business and system requirements for system requests, upgrades, and replacements to ensure compatibility with IT standards and architectures Able to coordinate the implementation of small projects to successful implementation. Communicates project and team status to internal and external audiences to keep project team informed. Demonstrate strong customer facing skills in order to foster a collaborative relationship. Exhibits exceptional oral and written communication skills necessary to communicate (technically and non-technically) with other team members; other technology services staff, customers, vendors, partners and leadership. Conducts or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova Health System. Assists in recruitment, development and training of existing and new employees.
3 years as systems analyst or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of IT and hospital systems to include systems such as, but not limited to the following: Windows desktop environment, end user peripheral devices, CITRIX, Spok mobile, Xtend, EPIC, and contact center operations.
Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent experience.
