Ability to identify and communicate network requirements, protocols, and settings associated with deploying and supporting network, VOIP, security, server, and storage equipment; working with the first 3 layers of the OSI model.
Troubleshoot issues associated with physical equipment and connectivity, logical pathways, and network configurations by inspection, probes, Cisco IOS commands, and various monitoring tools.
Develops or modifies infrastructure solutions by identifying technical solutions to business problems; developing and validating system design prototypes; collaborating with various IT Teams (e.g., database, operations, technical support) throughout system development and implementation; ensuring system designs adhere to company architecture standards; building hardware configurations and preparing system components for installation to the infrastructure; developing and documenting detailed standards (e.g., guidelines, processes, procedures) to enable successful rollout of new or existing systems; supporting patch and life cycle management, backups, and disaster protection; collaborating with IT teams and key business partners to troubleshoot systems as appropriate; providing systems incident support as needed; providing post-implementation support to make system enhancements; providing knowledge, information, and updates on new or upgraded services to stakeholders as appropriate

Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and 2+ years of experience in an IT support environment with technical experience in distributed technologies and systems development. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
