  • Provide technical architecture guidance and support
  • Identify architectural weaknesses and areas for improvement without direction
  • Provide training and coaching for engineers on applying best practices and building skillsets
  • Provide day-to-day support for initiatives by participating in reviews of significant technical design deliverables and supporting post-release problem management efforts in conjunction with other engineering leads
  • Collaborate with various technical and business stakeholders to define user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Recommend processes, services, software, hardware, and other tools to support business objectives pertinent to infrastructuretechnologies
  • Provide architectural oversight through various mechanisms both open standard and proprietary

Required Skills &Qualifications

  • Experience developing large-scale infrastructures
  • Experience working to proactively identify cross program Infrastructure dependencies and potential downstream impact
  • Demonstrated successful working relationships with IT and Business customers
  • Experience evaluating tools, technologies, and process to best fit with existing practices
  • Working knowledge of frontend architectural topics (HTTP, Cookies, caching, web performance, scalability, security, third party integrations)
  • Experience working with Service Oriented Architectures
  • Experience creating technical documentation and training material
  • Experience leading technical change in a non-hierarchical environment
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with local and remote co-workers
  • Takes initiative to find better/faster ways of achieving desired outcomes
  • Passionate for building & maintaining world-class products
  • Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to adjust to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to identify and raise key technical and/or process issues and collaborate with others to find solutions

  • Experience with automation tools to deploy platforms
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization
  • Experience working with sensitive and/or regulated data (PII, PHI, Credit Card Information) and understanding of constraints and limitations of its usages

Experienceand Education

  • Extensive experience (6-10 years)
  • Bachelor's degreerequired, preferably in engineering, computer science, or information systems
