1. The director is responsible for strategic planning, tactical action, and operational decision-making to fulfill the mission of the IT department. 2. Provide leadership and management to the IT department to provide, operate, and maintain computing and telecommunication facilities, equipment, and services that meet the needs of a dynamic manufacturing company. 3. The director is responsible for all aspects of information technology management and control, including supervision of information technology employees; budget preparation and management; recommendations for technical acquisitions; and development of guidelines, standards and procedures. 4. Evaluate, continuously and proactively, technology requirements to ensure timely and reliable availability of network components and applications, including a full feature ERP system. 5. Manage all aspects of technology--blue printing and development through deployment. 6. Develop, lead and mentor an empowered, multi-site, multi discipline, professional organization engaged in administrative systems, computer ERP operations, networking, help desk, web applications, phone systems, user training, database administration and the design, development and implementation of business solutions. 7. Anticipate and develop business cases, as needed, to justify an investment in core Information Systems solutions. 8. Provides end-User Training, Support, Documentation, and Testing for New Systems.
