The Senior Business System Analyst's role is to research, analyze, specify and validate business processes and ensure the alignment of multiple software applications. This includes gathering and compiling requirements and working closely with developers to provide solutions that meet business needs, assisting with creating test case scenarios and coordinating User Acceptance Testing efforts. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will also manage project delivery for schedule, budget and governance, and act as liaison for application support. The position reports to the Manager of Corporate Systems.


Documents and organizes current business processes
Works with team to gather, analyze and compile business process needs
Creates process models, specifications, diagrams and charts on current business processes
Manages and tracks the status of the requirements throughout the project life cycle, enforcing and redefining as necessary
Develops test case scenarios based on project requirements
Coordinates user acceptance testing
Ensures end-to-end alignment with upstream and downstream systems
Manages projects in accordance with standard IT governance policies and procedures
Estimates project costs and timelines and delivers to established targets
Business-facing liaison with application support teams
Performs related duties as required and assigned

Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance with 6-8 years relevant work experience, or Graduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate initiative and ownership of tasks and projects
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines
Ability to translate business requirements to technical specifications
Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with users at all levels from sourcing partners to Director


Ability to accurately estimate, plan and deliver projects
SaaS implementation/support of Concur, Treasury applications and Financial applications
Experience with SAP integration to SaaS solutions
Agile and waterfall SDLC understanding
