IT Configuration Engineer (Redwood Shores, CA) Imperva Inc. – to implement, support and configure cyber security firm systems and servers, including Windows servers, VMware servers, Exchange servers, SAN, network infrastructure, and related systems. Duties include:

  • Oversee management and deployment of security infrastructure including Vulnerability Management, WAF, Network Monitoring, Logging correlation, DDOS prevention and IPS/IDS.
  • Create technical solutions based on collaboration with individuals from multiple teams.
  • Develop, implement and continually refine/improve incident and problem management procedures and documentation, maintaining individual and team incident, problem, and request queues.
  • Design and lead IT projects and operations to promote and improve operational stability, business efficiency, compliance, and security, including allocation of resources.
  • Develop IT policies and procedures, resolution of Tier 1-2 user support requests
  • Ensure security through access controls and role identification.
  • Implement and administer O365 workloads including Exchange Online, One Drive for business, Skype for business, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • Manage Active Directory including all account provisioning, termination, Files and folders permissions.
  • Develop, build, test, and deploy Windows OSD images for Windows 7 and Windows 10 end points.
  • Implement, monitor and improve system security configurations.
  • Monitor application operation for performance, data integrity, and availability.
  • Participate in monthly patching and security updates as required to keep environment secure, including occasional off-hours and weekend work associated with patching and change control actions.
  • Participate in 24/7 call for any critical IT infrastructure issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

3 years of experience in IT systems administration for security product infrastructure. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include:

  • 2 years working in systems configuration management.
  • 3 years implementing PCI, SOX, ISO and NIST security standards.
  • 2 years managing enterprise security IT projects.
  • 3 years implementing and administering O365 workloads including Exchange Online, One Drive for business, Skype for business, Teams, and SharePoint Online.
  • 3 years managing Active Directory including all account provisioning, termination, Files and folders permissions.
  • 3 years configuring, deploying, and creating software packages for internal testing & development of data security products and installation of new servers.
  • 2 years performing internal pre-release analysis of data security products, including process documentation, technical reviews, error management options, and workflow.
  • 2 years developing simulated customer environments for testing of data security products to replicate client usage and anticipate potential service issues and remedies.
  • Participate in 24/7 call for any critical IT infrastructure issues.
  • Domestic & international travel up to 2 weeks per quarter.
