Responsibilities

The IT Enterprise Architect III/Senior is responsible for the overall direction for the organization's information technical. Develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed with information technology solutions and services. The Architect role spans multiple specializations including:

Enterprise Architect: Responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level IT systems, principles, and standards required to support APS

Minimum Requirements
Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field and 7 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Requires in-depth level of technical knowledge within a job area and working knowledge of other technical areas

Preferred Special Skills, Knowledge or Qualifications
- Knowledge of information technology (IT) management; strategic business acumen; organization strategy; technical design; Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent; IT infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc.; information security standards, rules and regulations related to information security and data protection; current and emerging security threats; strong business knowledge.
- Skill in advanced management of information systems; database systems management; leveraging advanced knowledge and skills; leading; communicating effectively to complement an aptitude for computer systems; creative thinking; being flexible and adaptable; document management; collaborating; content; conceptualizing and analyzing problems; critical thinking; including cross-functional influence.
- Ability to develop information systems to deliver the business strategy; analyze emerging technologies and make appropriate recommendations; implement a process-based approach to meeting organizational goals; assess a broad range of information solutions and products; develop architecture designs


Major Accountabilities
1) Leads and coordinates the technical and business discussions to drive the future architecture direction

2) Responsible for analysis, design, and development of architectural roadmaps and implementation plan

3) Supports, develops, and communicates policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

4) Contributes to the development of software and other delivery platforms

5) with reusable components

6) Partners with business leaders to understand business needs and provides technology options and considerations

7) Provides advice to internal clients and teams on future requirement, architecture decision and system optimization

8) Leads the technical design of systems and services, and communicates their design decisions

9) Contributes to designs applied to all aspects of business systems and/or infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation

10) Validates architectural decisions on a day to day basis

11) Leads the research of emerging technology, industry and market trends to identify potential impact to architecture

12) Provides guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area

13) Manage major/complex projects at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products
