Our IT team is searching for an IT Administrator The IT Administrator’s role is to provide the day-to-day support and projects of global Corporate IT operations. The ideal candidate is technically competent and is comfortable providing desktop end user support and administering corporate systems and solutions.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides 2nd- - 3rd level support of IT issues across the global organization.

  • Manage projects from concept to completion, including: vetting project ideas, gathering requirements, service design, transitioning services into operations, training and communicating effectively throughout the project life-cycle.

  • Works on IT projects and deals with 3rd party vendors and contractors as directed.

  • Installs, configures, and supports end user computing devices. (laptops and mobile devices)

  • Assists in network system support. This includes server backups, network cabling, network and system security, account creation, software installs and troubleshooting.

  • Assists in the development of scripts to automate IT tasks.

  • Assists in the planning and implements upgrades to the corporate systems and end user computing systems.

  • Troubleshoots and administers office productivity solutions, including email, Active Directory, desktop telephony, web, and voice conferencing.

  • Implements and supports desktop and end user security protections.

  • Administers on-boarding, changes, and termination procedures and automations.

  • Implements operational and security policies and procedures throughout service delivery lifecycle.

  • Creates and maintains self-help knowledge base.

  • Provides IT training to the on-boarding of employees.

  • Educates new and existing employees on how to effectively leverage corporate IT resources.

  • Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.

  • Performs other job-related duties as necessary.

Business/Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator

  • Must be comfortable in dealing with stakeholders in crisis situations

  • Understanding of common Agile project management concepts

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience with ITIL and Technical Support Processes

  • Knowledge of software development process and continuous integration concepts, infrastructure automation tools, public and private cloud infrastructuretechnologies

  • Knowledge of various system and networktechnologies

  • Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work effectively as part of a project/program team and foster team cooperation

Work Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience

  • 3-7+ years overall experience in IT operations

  • 3-7+ years’ Operational experience with the following technologies: Desktop Support/Customer Support, Systems Administration (Windows/Active Directory/PowerShell), Cloud IaaS (Azure), Networking (Routing, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, DHCP, Load Balancing)
