Communication Works closely with resellers / customers on the activation of services. Individual contributor performing professional / technical responsibilities. Demonstrates initiative to deliver against assigned objectives with minimal supervision. Performs tasks that require analytical skills and judgment to resolve issues independently. Job Detail General Summary Responsible for operating and maintaining IP network platforms. Develop operational methods and procedures as they relate to supporting technologies and services deployed within the network. Essential Duties Duty % of Time Coordinates and performs maintenance and migration activities. 20 % Demonstrates professional customer-facing communication skills. 15 % Drives resolution of faults through vendors and internal groups. 15 % RFO creation and customer follow up. 15 % Performs all levels of IP troubleshooting. 15 % Proactively finds opportunities to decrease MTTR and MTTI. 10 % Multi-tasks and interfaces between many systems and databases. 10 % Total: 100 % ** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Job Specifications Experience2-4Education Field of Study: ** IT / Telecom / Networking / Engineering Will a combination of education and experience be considered?* Yes Other Job Requirements CCNA / CCNP preferred*Ability to work flexible hours as needed *Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with customers in a professional manner *Fundamental Knowledge of OSI model, working knowledge of IP *Classless Inter-domain Routing (CIDR) *Fundamental knowledge of Routing Protocols and Hardware Platforms to include BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IP Routing, Cisco *Layer 2 and 3 Hardware and Software plus Cisco IOS, ATM, Frame-Relay and Juniper *Layer 2 and 3 Hardware and Software plus Juno OS, DNS, Radius, UNIX *Exposure to Network Design (LAN, WAN and ISP) and troubleshooting*Fundamental knowledge of all Ethernet Topologies.

Knowledge/experience configuring Juniper routers and switches is a strong plus, as is a JNCIA/JNCIS certification
