About this role
Imagine yourself embedded on a small team of otheriOS, web, and Android engineers, product managers, and designers, iterating on new ideas that all point toward growing our community of athletes. As an iOS engineer, you will work on our growth team on user acquisition, activation, and retention to build the strongest community of inspired athletes worldwide.
You will work alongside a passionate team to build features that assist new users in becoming engaged and active members in the Strava community. We develop rapidly and iteratively, utilizing user testing and analytics to inform our decision making. As an engineer on the growth team, you will launch A/B tests at large scale with the goal of increasing a specific target metric. Your code will ship to users quickly and have measurable impact on key business metrics. Our work focuses on increasing the number of engaged users on Strava.
- Delivering features in our iOS application focused around the new user journey
- Optimize registration conversion funnels
- A/B test and analyze everything
- Expand Strava’s growth and experimentation process
- Help define our public facing API, as our mobile applications are key consumers of it
What we look for
- Objective-C or Swift and CocoaTouch experience
- A self starter who is motivated by building optimal user experiences
- Experience working closely and iteratively with product and design
- Disciplined approach to unit testing and quality assurance
- Experience with iOS related build-tooling (xcodebuild, fastlane, CocoaPods) and automation
