• Conducts restrictive/denied party screening and due diligence

• Reviews proposed export and import transactions to determine licensing requirements under the ITAR, EAR, and/or US Trade Sanctions

• Prepares and submits license and agreement applications to DDTC and BIS

• Works with cross functional stakeholders to resolve operations/transactional issues

• Responsible for tracking and managing the activity on open licenses

• Maintains and manages import and export documentation in accordance with regulations

• Assists in developing, writing and maintaining import/export policies and procedures

• Assists in determining export jurisdiction and classification of hardware and technology

• Maintains knowledge of and keeps up with US Export and Customs Compliance and Foreign Trade regulations affecting the company and our exports

• Educates and trains internal staff on policy changes and new directives

Requirements • Requires a bachelor’s degree in business and five years of experience in a trade compliance role

• Regulatory experience with ITAR, EAR and Treasury/OFAC Sanction Regulatoins, Anti-Boycott, Foreign Trade Regulations, HS/Schedule B required

• Must be a US citizen or US permanent resident

• System experience with DTRADE, SNAPR and ACE required

• Knowledge of export regulars of other countries is a plus
