With a continued focus on growing their international business, our client is looking to hire a strategic sales professional to hunt and close new target accounts.

Role Responsibilities:

• Pro-actively target and pursue new customers via identified AND nonidentified segments principally those companies headquartered in the USA with collocation needs in Europe

• Actively use LinkedIn/structured social mediacampaigns, and traditional cold calling to gain appointments, build relationships, and attract new international customers

• Manage the international sales process from prospect to close

• Maintain up to date and accurate information on all sales activity in

• Develop, maintain and updatesales plans and pipeline management

• Prepare for and attend appropriate industry events globally

• Build and maintain a company-wide account team (across geographies and functions) to best support prospecting activities

• Hand over closed business to an appropriate Country and/or International Customer Relationship Manager

• Keep up to date with all relevant industry information/issues

Role Requirements:

• Successful track record in selling international IT / data center / telco / network industry to Enterprise level accounts (5+ years)

• Ability to travel (up to 50% of the time)

• Experience closing complex deals with international organizations

• Demonstrates ownership in role to drive results forward- both independently and collaboratively within organization

• Proven success in generating new business

• Formal sales methodology training
