  • Conducting cold calls to identify, qualify and secure potential advisor clients seeking to move to the TD Ameritrade Institutional platform as an independent advisor
  • Perform other various sales generating activities related to establishing TD Ameritrade Institutional as a recognized provider of Break Away Broker services (which can include attending industry conferences)
  • Provides support, ideas and information to assist with annual and quarterly growth targets
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of products and services to provide potential clients with information and promote, qualify and generate sales opportunities
  • Build a pipeline of prospective clients and maintain those relationships through sales calls and various marketing campaigns
  • Research/scrub and finalize calling campaigns to potential clients of TD Ameritrade Institutional
  • Work with internal partners such as marketing, product, and public relations to coordinate strategy and efforts
  • Participate in annual offsite training (which can include sales presentations)


  • Self-motivated team player with a minimum of 3 years of industry experiencerequired
  • Must have a thorough understanding of TD Ameritrade Institutional products and services
  • Must be able to organize activities and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to various situations
  • Knowledge of advisory business, custodial service platforms and brokerage a plus
  • Series 7 and Series 63 required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 to 5 years of  experience in a direct financial sales role
  • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements.
