JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for all communications for a large, global account within CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions business.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and execute a global communication platform to support CBRE account personnel, the client’s real estate organization, and occupants of client buildings managed by CBRE. This can include account newsletters, organizational announcements, change initiatives that support CBRE’s and the client’s business strategies. Communications could be across multiple media including e-mails, posters, and various technologies (i.e. apps, Yammer, Sharepoint, social media, etc.).

The position may coordinate activities of support staff.

Oversees other specific communications initiatives as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

May provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience and/or training. Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across regions and business units in a global organization to drive a global communication platform, while effectively motivating local and regional employees to actively contribute.

May be asked to deliver communications training to CBRE and client leaders with an emphasis on out-of-the-box thinking and unique and creative ways to deliver messages.

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to internal and external audiences. Must have a creative flair for finding unique and impactful methods for delivering messages.
