Education Required:Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
Skills Required:We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent quantitative and analytical skills for intermediate level cost estimator positions. Candidates will have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience designing, developing, building cost models and economic analysis tools. Experience in ground and space cost estimating is a major plus.
The position requires experience in parametric cost estimating, hardware and software cost estimating, life cycle cost analysis, cost estimating relationship (CER) development, ICEs, cost model development, cost risk assessment & analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and project forecasting.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented with a focus on customer service. Good communication skills, fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SEER, ICEAA certification, and familiarity with Systems Engineering and Acquisition policies are key qualifiers.
An active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
Responsibilities:Working as a part of an integrated cost estimating team, the cost estimator will perform a variety of cost estimating and analysis support directly interfacing with program offices and assisting the development and presentation of management level briefings as needed.
