As a member of the Intelligent Supply Chain (ISC) Offer team this role's primary responsibility will be to drive growth for our organization by identifying, pursuing, and supporting new business opportunities and offers related to ISC transformations. Candidates will need a deep understanding of supply chain operations, as well as the latest trends and technologies impacting the industry.
ISC team members are part of the Group Portfolio organization. The mission of the Group portfolio team is to fuel, enable and support the growth of strategic Supply Chain offers across SBU/Geo-MU per industry and GBL (global practices including Invent, Insight and Data, BSV, ER&D, etc.) by:
• Building Group offers and enabling Group asset curation
• Selecting strategic technology partners while facilitating and monitoring joint go to market and innovation activities
• Fueling and supporting customer opportunities, in close collaboration with local GTM teams, from deal shaping through solutioning to closing and launching
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing business relationships: This role will lead/assist to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry, including potential clients, partners, and vendors. This would involve establishing trust, communicating effectively, and understanding clients' needs and pain points.
2. Identifying new business opportunities: This role would lead/assist in identifying new business opportunities and/or potential clients who may benefit from our organization's ISC transformation solutions. This will involve conducting market research, attending industry events, and networking with other professionals in the field.
3. Developing proposals and presentations: This role will include preparing proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our organization's supply chain transformation capabilities and value proposition. This will involve working with cross-functional teams, including sales and technical experts, to develop customized solutions for clients.
4. Monitoring industry trends: This role will require the candidate to stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies impacting the supply chain industry, including emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and new market entrants. This would enable candidate to further identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
5. Negotiating contracts: This role will participate/lead the negotiation of contracts with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure that all parties are satisfied with the terms of the agreement. This may involve understanding legal and regulatory requirements, as well as negotiating pricing and other terms.
6. Engage conversation to shape transformational deals and work with CXO, while sharing international ISC return on experience
7. Bridge the gap between business needs and solutions, internally and externally
8. Build or improve go-to-market assets (sales deck by industry, zooms on specific topics, etc.) in close collaboration with all parties
9. Collaborate and influence all parties, internally (role by influence) and externally
10. Co-lead large bid management and bring expertise for solutioning (and delivery in some cases as SME)
11. Actively contribute to the preparation and delivery of customer orals to win deals
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or a related field; MBApreferred
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management and business transformation consulting
• 10+ years of industry experience leading global supply chain organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Proven track record of leading and/or delivering successful supply chain transformations for organizations or clients
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial performance metrics
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to travel as needed to client sites
