Duties

Help

  • Serve as the Analysis and Production Division's (J22) Subject Matter Expert (SME) on illicit trafficking networks and methodologies.
  • Conduct in-depth, all-source intelligence analysis to produce actionable intelligence and long-term strategic assessments.
  • Lead complex analytical projects on emerging threats or targets and guide team members in a collaborative capacity.
  • Synthesize intelligence from national, tactical, and allied partner sources, including SIGINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and law enforcement data, to identify key vulnerabilities, patterns, and trends within illicit trafficking activities.
  • Represent the Command at meetings which include a wide variety of internal and external partners.
  • Develop and deliver tailored intelligence briefings to diverse audiences and articulate expert assessments and recommendations.
  • Research and integrate new analytical techniques and technologies to improve the quality and timeliness of intelligence production.

  • This position is designated Tier 5, Special Sensitive, High Risk and the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance Level with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access as a condition of employment.
  • This is a drug testing designated position (TDP) under the Department of the Army Drug Free Federal Workplace Program in accordance with AR 600-85. (See Additional Information section below).
  • Overtime may be required as deemed necessary by the Command.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of progressively responsible specialized experience which includes analyzing or assisting with the analysis of all-source intelligence; consolidating intelligence information to identify vulnerabilities, patterns and/or trends; and communicating intelligence or trafficking information to others orally. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS/GG-13).

Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
