Description of Position:

  • Provide for 24x7 watch desk support. Specific tasking includes:
  • Configure collection systems to execute tasking requests initiated by approved customer personnel
  • Provide recommendations to engineers, analysts and computer scientists for acquiring, maintaining and improving access
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and success of the tasking as it applies to configuring customer systems
  • Respond in a timely manner to queries and ensure feedback is provided
  • Maintain and update thorough knowledge and/or capabilities of all sites to include end-to-end data flow
  • Provide collection summary reports, statistics and metrics via formal and informal communications as specified
  • Assist in recognizing and defining collection problems and provide recommendations for optimizing collection
  • Document and distribute summaries of watch events and notifications via formal and informal communications

***Shift Work Required: Wed-Sat, 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm***


Education and Experience Required:

  • Ten (10) years of intelligence analysis experience in a professional environment. 
  • Experience shall include three (3) years with at least one of the following:  producing research and analysis, performance assessments, analyzing resource allocation, and/or assessing satisfaction levels of requirements. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university of required.  Four (4) years of additional IA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • A demonstrated foundation in the following technical areas:
    - Tasking strategies
    - Radio communications procedures
    - Understanding collection requirements process
    - Basic signals analysis and identification
    - Functions and operations of electronic equipment
    - Reporting formats and procedures
    - Basic computer operations and directives for handling
    - Distributing and protecting defense information
    - Telecommunications knowledge and experience
    - Cryptologic systems operations
    - Mission management responsibilities and related cryptologic activities
