Roles, Responsibilities, and Required Technical Skills
This is a Senior Technical Engineering position that requires the employee to work closely with customers, often onsite for extended periods of time. The role involves the integration of Ondot’s server software into financial institution customers’ data centers, assist the Engineering andQA teams in testing customer specific code deployments, and engage customers through support tickets or on site deployment. The Integration Engineer plays a key role in supporting our customers as a point of escalation for resolving complex application specific issues. As the liaison between the customersupport and the engineering teams, this key position is responsible for validation and escalation of product issues and enhancements. In addition, this position will be responsible to thoroughly test financial institution specific applications prior to deployment at client site.This role requires an extensive level of technical expertise with product installs and upgrades(Linux RPMs, RHEL, Linux Tools, bash scripting preferred), Oracle database troubleshooting, and virtualization tools.
•Experience with integrating third party vendor servers/application at customers’ data centers.
•Experience with performing server installation.
•Extensive experience inLINUX environments –RHEL.
•Extensive experience inOracle database management, accessand technical diagnostic tools required.
•Proficiency in JBOSS
•Proficiency inweb services/APIs, including: RESTful APIs, XML APIs, and SOAP APIs.
•Proficiency in ISO8583,TLV, JSON, and XML.
•Experience intools such as SOAP-UI and JPOS
•Install the Ondot servers in financial institution’s data center.
•Participate in weekly review pilot meetings with financial institution customers.
•Perform app testing of financial institution specific mobile card control and alert app.
•Track customers’ feedback and provide inputs to Product Management and Engineering.
•Prepare written and verbal communication to clients in relation to explanation of issues, recommendations for processes and other correspondence as needed.
•Review documentation that includes but not limited to product installation guides, user guides, business requirements,andtechnical requirements.
•Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
•At least 6 yearsof related technical experience required, strongly preferred in financial/payment industry, with at least3+ years in a software development, QA, or technical integration position.
•Bi-lingual –English and Spanish, with excellent communication abilities in both languages (since customers will be based in both US and Mexico).
•Must we willing to be on call 24x7.
•Track record of staying in a company for several years.
