Develop and enhance program underwriting, risk management, risk selection, and risk evaluation philosophies and procedures according to company needs and market conditions.

*** Oversee development of new programs and product lines to support growth objectives while maintaining target profit margins.

*** Develop and achieve financial goals and metrics including premium production, losses, and profitability.

*** Ensure pricing integrity of book in line with strategic plans and return on equity objectives.

*** Lead implementation and monitoring of exposure plans to achieve desired probable maximum loss and reinsurance cost optimization.

*** Provide expertise and guidance in technical insurance matters involving complex individual risks or books of business.

*** Adhere to established underwriting compliance standards in accordance with regulatory filings.

*** Oversee periodic underwriting audits to ensure philosophies and procedures are followed and product loss ratios are acceptable.
