Join underwriting team to:
*** Analyze claim experience and other credibility factors to determine appropriate rate levels for new business and renewal accounts.
*** Develop and communicate new business and renewal rate recommendations and decisions in accordance with level of authority.
*** Review plan design and calculate rates for requested or recommended plan changes.
*** Process sold accounts and confirmed renewals following established procedures.
*** Provide competitive feedback on rates and products to management.
*** Manage new business and renewal accounts from assigned regions to balance profitability and growth.
*** Monitor performance of assigned book of business and initiate actions to improve performance when needed.
*** Develop and maintain relationships with clients, producers, and reinsurance partners.
*** Develop improvements in underwriting practices, pricing and marketing strategies.
