Seeking individual capable of overseeing the California markets with a combined premium of over $200 million.

 

Overview:

 

Lead the planning, development and introduction of new, customer-relevant products to the personal lines auto, homeowners, dwelling fire and umbrella markets.

 

Responsibilities:

 

*** Lead strategic planning, development and implementation of new personal lines products.

 

*** Provide guidance, oversight, effectively analyze performance metrics of product management support team.

 

      .... Evaluate and implement price level adjustments by state to maintain profitability

 

      .... Manage state rate filings

 

      .....Work cross-functionally with Actuarial, Underwriting, Marketing, Application Services departments to improve risk rating, efficiency, and effectiveness of underwriting process.

*** Negotiate and persuade various levels of management concerning operations and project phase scheduling.

 

Qualifications:

 

***Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of knowledge in Product Management or Underwriting

 

*** Demonstrated success developing or improving personal lines, auto, and home owners insurance products for the California market.

 

*** Familiarity with multivariate modeling, standard industry software tools, and DOI filings and compliance for California.

 

*** CPCU, or working toward, preferred
