Supervise, monitor, instruct, and evaluate performance of staff and independent appraisers.


*** Provide claims and appraisal direction and assistance.


*** Monitor writing of appraisals for compliance with procedures and department expectations.


*** Review existing shops and add & remove shops under the program.


*** Outline contracts with shops and explain duties such as: traveling to catastrophe areas to service customers; resolution of customer concerns with quality issues on work completed; and similar.


*** Make operational decisions and modify operating policies.


*** Hire, train, and develop staff.


*** Provide technical expertise regarding various types of appraisal software.
