Position Summary:

Position Summary:

Kemper is looking for a motivated Customer Service Supervisor to work in our Phoenix, AZ office. As a Supervisor, you will support the daily operations for your team. You will be responsible for training, coaching, answering questions, resolving problems and assuring quality and service levels are met. In this position you will use independent discretion and judgment; motivate, train, counsel, and communicate performance standards and provide feedback to your team. Managers are leaders and will lead by example. Demonstrating positive attitudes and excellent customer service, all while enforcing policies and procedures as needed Our office is located in North Phoenix just off Interstate 17 and Bell Road and the work hours are Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 7:00pm PST and occasional Saturdays.


Position Responsibilities:

• Using independent discretion and judgment, responsible for the supervision of staff.
• Maintains an acceptable service level by ensuring that phones are consistently covered and answered in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitors incoming phone calls on a regular basis, evaluates customer service techniques, and recommends solutions for improvement to make certain that customers are treated with respect.
• Fosters employee retention through clear communication of expectations and performance in all measurable areas. Acknowledges and recognizes employee accomplishments and provides feedback where improvement is needed. • Handles escalated service calls.


Position Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Customer Service experience in a call center environment required.

• Auto insurance experience preferred.

• Prior supervisory experience required; call center preferred.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

• Must have flexibly in work schedule. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
