Insurance Agency / Broker Commercial Manager. Irvine, CA.
A service staff of 24 people will report to you in this role.
The client writes some fairly sophisticated accounts with fairly large revenues, so you should be familiar with the service implications of middle-market accounts and larger. (Not smaller Farmer?s sized accounts).
They pride themselves on giving stellar service to their clients.
They have a paperless Applied / Epic agency management system.
I would ask that you, from an experience standpoint, have a 4-year college degree, some insurance-related coursework, and at last 10 years of commercial insurance agency/broker experience, as well as at least 3 years of managing a service staff of at least 15 people.
You?ll also need to have a current California P&C license and be very skilled in MS Office usage.
If your workload is caught-up for yourself and individual staff members, anyone can take every other Friday afternoon off (odd days or even days), if they so choose.
Salary $115-$160k + bonus.
Their benefit package is strong with not a huge out of pocket expense, and it also includes a 25% 401k match up to 6% of your contributions.
