Job Description

Seeking Sales Manager with experience in technical solutions sales to Process Market: Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Steel, Utilities Will manage key accounts and channel partner in North East US as well as two Regional Sales Managers for Gulf Coast and Midwest...then build sales beyond current regionsl.  

Can be based anywhere in North East US...home office. Travel40 -50%

Key is selling product used in petro-chemical plants or oil and gas facilities, preferably instrumentation products ...  Should also have previous experience in inside salessupport, direct field sales and/or representative sales. 

Job Duties:

Manage key accounts and channel partners to meet sales objectives and targets.

Support representative and customer inquiries; and qualify prospective purchasers with respect to applications.

Work withinternal personnel to expedite quotations, drawings, and shipments when needed.

Provide feedback on competitive activities, new market opportunities, and new product opportunities to management.

Assist in defining new product.

Provide product and application training to representatives as needed.

Manage the resources provided (time, money, personnel) to produce maximum bookings from the territory. Motivate representatives to achieve goals.

Provide accurate and regular bookings forecasts for the territory. Report activities to management on a weekly and monthly basis.

 

Qualifications

Requires:

BS Technical degree, MBA would be a plus but more importantly want someone eager to build customer base and increase sales.

Experience in technical solutions sales (preferably instrumentation products) to Process Market: Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Steel, Utilities

Need to be able to build network? connections savvy.  Able to motivate and direct distributor personnel to achieve sales goals.

Must have the ability to work withother companies and to work with minimal supervision toward attainment of goals. Reports to Director of Sales who will give great support.
