Genetic Counselor will see patients in the general genetics, neurofibromatosis, and cardiovascular (CV) genetics clinic. Will serve as the genetics “expert” on Marfan and Loeys-Dietz-related conditions both within the genetics department and also in the CV Genetics clinic. Will serve as a member of the Genetics Family Advisory Committee at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Will work with Baylor Genetics lab on identification and contact with patients regarding new gene discoveries. Will be involved in clinical supervision of genetic counseling students, medical students, and genetics fellows when they rotate through the general genetics service.
MS in Genetic Counseling is required.
