An instructor position is available immediately for a highly motivated investigator in the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Surgery. The successful applicant is to lead projects related to pancreatic cancer pathogenesis and therapy. The candidate will design and perform in vivo and in vitro experiments to understand the mechanism of tumor associated molecules-induced tumorigenesis and evaluate the therapeutic efficacy in several pancreatic cancer animal models. He/She will also be involved in grants and manuscripts writing, supervising students and postdocs in the lab. The successful candidate will be working in an efficient and friendly research environment to pursue the scientific career. Good communication skill is desired.
Minimum Education: M.D. or Ph.D.
Minimum Job Experience: Prior experience in genetic engineered mouse models, experience in molecular biology and immunology are highly desirable.
