Manage complex, multi-million dollar custom material handling projects from initial customer meeting through design, engineering, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and end-user training.
*** Create, monitor, and control detailed scope of work, budgets, and schedule utilizing software such as MS Office Project, Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and ORACLE ebusiness suite.
*** Estimate and requisition necessary large assemblies of machinery and associated equipment.
*** Estimate installation labor times and issues requisitions for subcontracts to suppliers.
*** Review installation mechanical and electrical drawings and schedules.
*** Manage internal functional groups such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, controls engineering, technology transfer, and installation teams assigned to the project.
*** Assist in system commissioning and field installation troubleshooting.
*** May assist in onsite training presentations.
*** Communicate with other departments as necessary to ensure group and company activities are synchronized and necessary processes are created and implemented.
