A comprehensive relocation package to the Austin, MN area will be offered, if required.
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $89,350-$125,000 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
BENEFITS: Other components of Hormel Foods' total compensation package includes comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, discretionary annual merit increases, bonuses and profit sharing, 401(k) with employer match, stock purchase plan, relocation assistance, paid vacation, FREE two-year community/technical college tuition for children of employees, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The position will support the Snacking & Entertaining vertical with the primary focus on PLANTERS brand by providing a deep understanding of the consumer perspective.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify relevant business issues, research objectives, and hypotheses to address brand questions and needs.
- Designs, manages, and executes quantitative and qualitative custom research projects for consumer and shopper understanding to support brand marketing goals.
- Identifies, develops, and uses expertise in appropriate custom research techniques.
- Utilizes syndicated data and secondary trends data.
- Requires 10-20% travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 - 3+ years' experience in consumer/shopper research, marketing, sales or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
- Knowledge in a broad range of consumer research methodologies.
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Leadership and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across verticals, cross functional teams, and research suppliers.
- Ability to synergize information from multiple sources to tell a story.
- Well-developed organizational skills including attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well-developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
- Advanced computer/technical skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
