Vector Solutions Public Sector (TargetSolutions Products) is looking for a SMB Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business by calling on senior management (Director, Vice President, C-Level Executives, etc.) and selling online continuing education (CE) and professional development training to individuals in the Public Sector space. If you are a true hunter and are motivated by the opportunity to make money, this role is the right fit for you! Responsibilities:

  • Use existing relationships to grow business within current accounts
  • Networking using Sales 2.0 techniques to increase penetration for new accounts in a geographically defined territory
  • Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, web-ex demonstrations, and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision
  • Achieve sales goals and be able to work independently
  • Collaborate with internal resources to drive larger sales and opportunities
  • Minimum Travel will be required in this position, this is an in house sales role

Requirements:

  • Professional sales experience selling to both high level decision makers and influencers
  • At least five (5) years of experience in business to business (B2B) sales
  • A proven sales track record with a stable work history
  • Knowledge of soft skills is desirable but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
