The Inside Sales Account Manager increases territory sales by collaboratively selling with the outside sales team, generates new business from prospects and from upgrades to the original sale.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with current and future customers
- Manages sales cycle on incoming orders, from prospect to commitment, emphasizing salable features and upselling, to quoting prices and credit terms, and preparing sales orders
- Effectively communicates the benefits of Penguin products and services to prospective customers; overcome prospect objections, appropriately convey customer ROI and aggressively manage competitive selling situations
- Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell products and services
