Inside / Field Sales Rep - ERP Software - CA, TX - 27051839

The Inside Sales Account Executive’s (AE) role is to manage specified key customer accounts as well as new business/expansion. You will be working both Inside Sales & Field Sales in a 60/40 ratio for the first few months and then transition to a full-time Field Rep, maintaining the installed base along with acquiring new logos.

The Sales Rep's goal is to sell and influence key decision-makers– being seen as a Subject Matter Expert and "trusted advisor" – such that we achieve high overall Customer Delight and have referenceable clients open to expansion and referrals.

The client is looking for candidates w/ a minimum of (4) years experience selling Enterprise ERP, Supply Chain, PLM, etc software in an Inside Sales environment, who is ready to move to an Outside Sales role. These are expansion roles in Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA. You could live in Dallas, Houston, Orange County or San Diego, if you are really qualified!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sell Enterprise ERP, Supply Chain, PLM, etc. software solutions to prospects & existing customers in your territory.
  • Develop and implement account/territory plans to achieve target revenue goals (Quota).
  • Qualify new prospects; differentiate their solution advantages, features and benefits, prepare Sales Quotes using established pricing guidelines, and prepare internal sales orders.
  • Support the cross-sale of our Enterprise software solutions.
  • Lead Generation - Maintain and expand the database of prospects / identify decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to initiate sales process through prospecting tools and processes.
  • Participate in product training sessions, sales meetings, skills training and professional development classes.
  • Capture accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Coordinate with Customer Care/Order Management as required to ensure delivery commitments are accurate and timely.

Skills and Specifications

  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial Inside Sales & Field Sales environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Highly energetic and self-starter.
  • Team oriented.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Honest, assertive and systematic and fun to be around!

Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma (BS/BA) or work experience in a related field.
  • 4+ years related Inside Salesexperience for an Enterprise software company. Ready to move to Outside Sales!
  • Proven track record of success – meeting Quota, Sales awards, etc.
  • Related industry experience within ERP, Supply Chain or PLM software is a BIG plus +++.

Base Salary:  $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings:  $180,000.00 - $185,000.00 - Uncapped

Locations: Austin, TX and Los Angeles, CA
