of our team, responsible for building the next generation of hosted, hybrid and on premise products for our public safety customers around the world. Our products allow customers to respond effectively in mission-critical operating environments and we’re looking for world-class engineers interested in building software and systems that truly make a difference.
This Infrastructure Engineer can reside anywhere within the U.S., but proximity to Westminster, CO is preferable. They work independently and in partnership with the Software Enterprise, engineering, product management, and system implementation teams, acting as a technical resource for customer software implementations and solution design. The position acts as the owner of the virtualization configuration, architecture, and infrastructure for customer solutions. This position also acts as the thought leader for virtualization technology throughout the SE organization, from development through implementation, including lab environments. The Infrastructure Engineer must be able to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex problems in a variety of customer-maintained environments. This position requires the ability to work with multiple virtualization technologies and monitoring tools for both server and client virtualization as well as the development of documentation and process automation for delivery. A clear understanding of impacts to hardware infrastructure, networking and storage is expected in order to achieve maximum system performance. Finally, this position assists with root cause analysis in the event of a system failure or problem. This is considered a secondary customer facing position, and some travel (10-30%) is required. This position reports to the Infrastructure and System Design Team manager.
