Position Overview:

The Platform Product Manager is responsible for developing critical core assets for the Information Ventures portfolio that will enable our team to build out a suite of customer- facing solutions.  This role will collaborate with potential external partners and Quest’s internal teams (Commercial,  HTAS, and Ops) to gather and distill market requirements, define basis for competitive differentiation, and track value
creation..  The Platform Product Manager will report directly to Sr. Director, Product Solutions. 

Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain in-depth  knowledge and expertise regarding platforms
used to support the Information Ventures portfolio of solutions

·       
Work with internal business and
technical teams to identify, evaluate and design a strategy for each critical core
asset in the Information Ventures portfolio  

·  Build a comprehensive portfolio roadmap that focuses on leveraging those critical assets to successfully enable the flow of solution features and benefits for the Information Ventures portfolioConduct market research to identify potential competitors, emerging technologies, and market shifts 

·  Consult with Information Ventures’ New Solution Leaders, Market Leaders, and Application Product Managers  to assess needs and requirements

·   Partner with Information Ventures’ New Solution Leaders, Market Leaders, and Project Manager to ensure the portfolio roadmap aligns to Information Ventures’ overall project plans for
tasks, timeline, and milestones 

·   Update Information Ventures’ leadership team regarding project statuses, risks and resolution options

·   Support the creation of executive-level presentations (e.g., data analysis, graph generation etc.);

·   Regularly review and communicate to Technology, Medical, and Compliance teams any adjustments to requirements, specifications, business processes and prioritization

·    Develop and implement user acceptance test plans and support release management in collaboration with technical product management team

·    Construct a formal business plan that will be updated and reviewed on a quarterly basis to account for product enhancements and changes in the healthcare landscape, regulations and compliance

·    Work with external organizations to identify opportunities to enhance critical core assets via acquisition or partnership  

REQUIRED
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of Product Management, Software Engineering, or Software Development experience; Solid technical skills to be able to apply technology solutions to client/market requestsDemonstrated experience of healthcare sector (technical, data analytics, informatics, software and/or IT products).Demonstrated success in generating life cycle of a product  Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; comfortable interacting and presenting with senior executives of health systems, Health Plans, executive managementSuperb customer service and relationship building capabilities.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and mentor sales colleagues on informatics-type products and value propositions.Demonstrated ability to utilize and leverage basic business tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, WebEx, SalesForce.com and the like.Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently while adhering to project schedule.Ability to travel on an as needed basis (up to 25%).

Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in related area of science,
mathematics, business, economics or information technology. Master’s degree/MBA preferred.Key Competencies:
