Partners with the Delivery Lead for operational planning, estimating, tracking, management of risk, portfoliofinances, reporting and business communications

May own and participates in developing strategic partnerships with Vendors and executes negotiations and contracts in partnership with vendor management and the PMO.
Problem management - Assess service problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
Has a solid understanding of external industry trends and key competitors and applies those capabilities while managing interactions and creating solutions in partnership with IT and business colleagues
Responsible for internal operational throughput, quality and SLA metrics
Partners with Delivery Lead and senior management to develop annual budget and is responsible for managing their budget within the cost centers they are directly responsible for.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Typically has 10 to 15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 7 years of leadership experience and 5+ years managing projects and/or project portfolios and/or leading IT operational areas.
Should have in-depth knowledge of the technologies they are currently supporting and a proven willingness to stay knowledgeable about and introduce new technologies that would enhance our businesses.
Has strong business partner relationship and vendor management skills.
