The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Business Development

  • Grows the Gulf/Southwest Region IMS and GIS practice by leveraging existing client relationships

  • Successfully history of marketing clients and winning projects

  • Viewed as a regional leader in the Information Technology market in Arizona and the Southwest

  • Presents at various local, regional, national, and international conferences

Team Leadership

  • Provides leadership and guidance to team for successful project execution and staff career growth

  • Performs staff reviews, develops career goals, coordinates work assignments, resolves issues, integrates staff into project work, develops staff skill set, and grows the team

Project Management

  • Manages projects of various sizes and coordinates with clients to achieve successful project completion

  • Manages project finances to meet client and office expectations

  • Mentors and leads staff to perform and complete technical aspects of projects

  • Plans, coordinates, develops, and monitors projects to completion

Technical Capability

  • Provides Information Technology expertise and leadership on projects, including web/mobile/desktop application development, relational database administration and design, GIS system design, and information management

  • Takes ownership of tasks, resolves project and technical issues, and seeks innovation and efficiencies

  • Communicates regularly with staff to monitor progress and ensure schedules are met

  • Works with multiple teams in various offices, to pursue, manage and deliver projects

  • Establishes, promotes, and ensures quality on all projects and work performance

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field

  • 8+ years' industry experience

  • Strong project management, business development , and team leadership skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Information Technology

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively and proactively communicate with the project team and diverse clients

  • Ability to articulate with a professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills
