Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

Responsibilities

Peraton seeks a Information System Secuity Officer (ISSO) to provide support to INSCOM (1st IO) Enterprise Cybersecurity Support Services in Fort Meade, MD.

You will serve as a principle ISSO in accordance with DA PAM 25-2-14 for a portfolio of systems on multiple networks.

Tasks include:

• Lead the assessment and authorization (A&A) process of multiple systems in eMASS to gain an approved ATO or maintain an existing ATO via Continuous Monitoring
• Develop, review, and package BOE artifacts in eMASS
• Prepare documentation from information obtained from customer using accepted guidelines such as Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Execute vulnerability scanning/scanning analysis to identify levels of vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation
• Prepare/maintain POA&Ms
• Conduct Quarterly STIG Compliance Reviews
• Contribute to incident response efforts for systems in your portfolio
• Support FISMA Compliance Reports and JCAPS reports
• Conduct Monthly/Quarterly Privileged User Audit (Alternate)
• ATCTS (Alternate)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS 10-12, MS 8-10, Phd 5-7 and will consider HS +14 Years experience.
• Strong eMASS experience IAM role
• Experience selecting and implementing security controls.
• Expertise preparing Security Test and Evaluation plans.
• Has provided certification and accreditation support.
• Experience developing security plans and contingency plans.
• Familiar with developing, testing, and integrating security tools as well as configuring and installing the tools.
• Skilled in conducting security audits and developing mitigations to identified risks.
• Has conducted vulnerability assessments.
• Current DoD 8570 / 8140 IAM level 1 - must maintain in ATCTS
• Active TS/SCI. There is no CI Polygraph required for this position.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
