The Information Security Officer is responsible for information security management, risk analysis, response and enforcing formally documented security controls. Review security violation reports and enforces security policies and procedures across the business entity. Ensure necessary interaction with respective management and other relevant target groups as well as coordinating and consultative activities. Work with Global Security Teams to investigates potential security exceptions and manages the corporate information security awareness program. Represent the security needs of the organization by providing expertise and assistance in all IT projects with regard to security issues and regulatory requirements. In addition, lead the development and implementation of productivity and effectiveness enhancements. Manage security requirements from business customers, including responding to information security questionnaires, and implementing appropriate remediations. Coordinate security administration and issues resolution across the entity. Keeps entity and global management appropriately informed of all pertinent security matters and issues in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s degree in IT related discipline is required or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of experience in a technical or IT Security related area.
5+ years’ experience of direct IT Security management.
Experience in IT Security Management.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
Good interpersonal skills with a specific focus on understanding customer needs.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Master’s degree in IT related discipline or business related discipline is preferred.
10 + years of experience in a IT Security related area preferred.
CISSP, CISM or similar Information Security related certification preferred.
