Information Reporting Specialist
Region:     Woodbridge           State:     NJ

The Information Reporting Specialist will be responsible for the following functions in the Corporate Tax department.


1042 Withholding and Reporting

    Ensure continued compliance with Chapter 3 withholding requirements.
    Establish workflow for review of documentation received (Form W-8) from foreign accounts.
    Determine proper classification of payments made to foreign accounts.
    Determine appropriate withholding rate to apply to payments.
    Annual reporting on Form 1042 and Form 1042S.
    Annual review of classification of mutual fund distributions.


FATCA Compliance

    Ensure continued compliance with Chapter 4 documentation requirements.
    Consider changes to automation process.  


1099 Misc. Reporting

    Assist with conversion to automated accounts payable system.
    Prepare annual 1099 Misc. statements.


Job Requirements:


    Bachelor’s Degree required.
    5 years of related tax experience.
    Previous project management experience a plus
    Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
    Shows tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgement in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
    Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
    Had excellent attention to detail, and executes responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
    Candidate must be highly motivated, organized, intuitive, and possess initiative to identify potential process improvements and be resourceful in solving problems.
    Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment.
    Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, Visio, Access, etc.).
